The Perfect Intro
Having a clear, concise, and compelling answer for the question “So... what do you do?” is something I consider to be very important.
The other day, I came across this video by Clay Hebert that I think is the best “crash course” I’ve ever seen on how to answer this ubiquitous question:
Longtime readers may recognize lots of parallels to my “cocktail party answer”, “laser-focused positioning statement”, “pigeonholing yourself”, “I’m a dog lawyer”, and so on...
So it’s fair to say that I completely agree with what Clay has to say in this talk.
Well almost completely... there’s one thing he recommends that I do not agree with. See if you can guess what it is 🙂
